Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we enter the final semester of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on how proud we are of our students and to emphasize the importance of finishing strong together at Southwest Middle School.

The last semester is a critical time for growth, accountability, and perseverance. Consistent attendance, positive behavior, and strong family support will make a lasting difference in our students’ success as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey.

Being part of the Sea Lion Nation means more than wearing our school colors—it means commitment, responsibility, and unity. When students know their families and school are working together, they feel supported, motivated, and confident. Your involvement and encouragement play a vital role in helping students stay focused and engaged during these final months.

We ask for your continued partnership in reinforcing expectations, celebrating effort, and reminding students that every day matters. Together, we can ensure this semester ends with pride, progress, and achievement for all.

Thank you for your continued support and for being an essential part of the Southwest Middle School community. Let’s finish this year strong—together as Sea Lion Nation.

With Sea Lion pride,

Damian Rosado
